ASUS is preparing to increase its volume in the handheld console market. It announced that it is working on a much more powerful version of the ROG Ally model, which was first introduced last year. Called ASUS ROG Ally X, the new handheld will have more powerful features.

As part of the first announcement made by ASUS, ROG Ally X is official. Accordingly, it will be powered by the same AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor as the previous console. ROG Ally X will feature a 7-inch 120Hz display and promises a significant increase in battery life thanks to the larger battery.

ASUS Senior Vice President Shawn Yen said that Ally X will receive a 30-40 percent increase in battery capacity. According to Yen, gamers will see battery life increase from around 1.5 hours on the first model to over 3 hours on the new device.

NVIDIA will rock the graphics of your favorite games!

NVIDIA has announced new games with DLSS support. DLSS technology is on the way for three new titles, including Homeworld 3.

Other upgrades include larger M2 2280 SSD storage. The Ally X is also rumored to include more than 16GB of RAM. There will also be slight changes to the joystick design to offer more flexibility when it comes to repairs. But let’s say it will come with a similar design.

The new model will be heavier due to the enlarged battery. ASUS did not give details about the price of the handheld console, but it is possible to say that it will be more expensive than the 25 thousand TL ROG Ally. More details about ROG Ally X will be revealed at the event on June 2.

When we look at the design of ROG Ally, we see that white color and RGB lighting are used in abundance. Weighing 608 grams, the device has a 7-inch screen with 1920×1080 resolution. The screen also offers a refresh rate of 120Hz.
